A tiger has killed a female keeper after escaping from its enclosure at Cologne Zoo, according to German media reports.
The dapd news agency cited a police spokesman as saying the tiger was later shot dead by staff at the zoo in western Germany.
Visitors were not harmed during the incident on Saturday
